KCM raises sales in 3Q; starts up wipe capacity

SAO PAULO, Oct. 24, 2017 (PPI Latin America) -Kimberly-Clark de México (KCM) increased its net revenues by 5.5% to Peso 9.2 billion ($506 million) in the third quarter of 2017 over the same period of 2016, driven by better pricing and mix, as well as higher volume.

According to the company's CFO, Xavier Cortés, sales volumes grew by 2% in the period, while price and mix were 4% higher. "Consumer product sales increased 5% and away-from-home products grew 14%.
