Latin American BEK producers see price stability in China; domestic sales remain at lower pace

SAO PAULO, March 12, 2019 (PPI Latin America) -After several weeks of dispute over bleached eucalyptus kraft (BEK) pulp prices in China, Latin American players believe that prices in that region are likely to stabilize and thus global pulp inventories will begin to flow. According to some sources, however, the European market has shown some warning signs in late February, with buyers and sellers entering a similar dispute over the correct level of prices.
