News briefs: Catalyst BC mill to restart after boiler leak

OAKLAND, CA, Feb. 8, 2019 (PPI Pulp & Paper Week) -Catalyst Paper's Powell River, BC, mill was due to resume papermaking Feb. 8 after being down for two weeks because of a boiler leak, local media reports said. The mill makes 370,000 tons/yr of uncoated mechanical high-brights, supercalendered papers and specialty grades, according to RISI Mill Intelligence.
