Palm starts building work for new recycled containerboard PM 5 at Aalen-Neukochen in Germany

BRUSSELS, July 11, 2019 (PPI Europe) -Papierfabrik Palm has broken ground for a new 750,000 tonne/yr recycled containerboard (RCCM) plant at its site in Aalen-Neukochen, Germany.

The Euro 500 million ($561 million) project, which is due to run until 2022, will ultimately see the complete dismantling of the existing mill. In its stead, the company is investing in a brand new machine, buildings and warehouses, biological wastewater treatment and a combined heat and power plant.
