Printing and writing papers in Brazil continue to face tumbling demand; prices in steep decline

SAO PAULO, Sept. 10, 2019 (PPI Latin America) -Brazilian printing/writing (P/W) paper prices dropped once again in September, after having fallen across the board also in July. With buyers extremely cautious amid high-volatility in exchange rates and low domestic consumption, sales volumes are plummeting. Prices for both domestic and imported uncoated woodfree (UWF) and coated woodfree (CWF) are down, while newsprint continues to see structural decline in demand, sources commented.
