Pulp import prices mostly flat across Asia; sellers slate BHK $10-30/tonne rises

SINGAPORE, March 30, 2018 (PPI Asia) -Prices for most imported pulp grades have stayed flat across Asia this month amid a stalemate in price talks that has lasted for a few months.

Buyers’ and sellers’ differences over pricing perspectives began to grow after the implementation of sharp increases for bleached softwood and hardwood kraft (BSK and BHK) pulp in H2 last year, driven by a five-month buying spree in China that began in July.
