Recovered Paper: China OCC #12 up $25 in last three weeks at LA; eyes set on if May repeats

OAKLAND, CA, April 27, 2018 (PPI Pulp & Paper Week) -Entering what last year was one of the largest consumption and lowest inventory months of the year in May, US recovered paper consumption picked up in March and old corrugated container (OCC) stock at domestic mills declined, according to American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) figures.

March consumption increased 1.6% (vs March 2017 consumption) and OCC inventory at US mills declined 7.6% in March from February to 432,300 tons.
