T&D Wood Energy awarded USDA grant to build wood pellet mill in Maine [From the web]

SANFORD, ME, Sept. 13, 2018 (Journal Tribune) -A company that plans to turn sawmill residue into wood pellets for heating fuel to be sold throughout New England has been awarded a $200,000 grant through the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development program.

T&D Wood Energy LLC, made up of the father-and-son team of Dean and Tony Wood, are in the process of building their new mill on New Dam Road.
