Vipap Videm restarts production after maintenance shut

BRUSSELS, Sept. 7, 2017 (RISI) -Slovenian paper producer Vipap Videm carried out a maintenance shutdown during the week of August 21 at its
Krško mill. The company has now restarted production and is producing at a regular pace.

Elsewhere, the Czech Finance Ministry, which owns a 96.5% stake in the company, and the other shareholders are continuing their efforts to sell the company. A tender for the sale of Vipap Videm was launched in March this year.

The Krško mill produces standard and improved newsprint, graphic and packaging papers and has a total capacity of 210,000 tonnes/yr.
