RISI's Timber Transaction Price Service (Timber TPS) is a web-based database of actual timber sales that enables you to view month-by-month stumpage prices by species and region. Timber TPS allows you to more quickly and accurately assess the market value of your timber and timberlands, leading to better investment decisions and better outcomes for timber sales or purchases.

Timber TPS's web-based interface lets you:

Create customized reports on actual timber sales by

• Specific region (to the county level)
• Specific sale attributes (Species, product, sale type, harvest type, submitting entity)
• Date range

View the details for any sale that is used to make up each price series.

Exclude sales that you do not deem to be indicative of the market or suited to your price request.

Timber TPS can also be used as a data management system, allowing you to:

• Record, track and store your own timber sales data
• Share timber sale data with remote offices
