Metso Automation automated freeness analyzer
Metso Automation introduces an automated standard freeness analyzer

AUTOMATION
The kajaaniKSF is an automated standard freeness analyzer from Metso Automation. The unit automates the TAPPI T227 freeness test for better repeatability and frequency than can be achieved manually. With up to five remote sampling devices, samples of 15% consistency are piped 100 m to the analyzer. The automatic cleaning cycle uses an ultrasonic cleaner and can be supplemented by automatically dosed chemicals.

IT
Bosch Rexroth has introduced a new industrial PC platform that is designed to work with the System200. The new units include an integral non-interruptible power supply (UPS), a shock mounted hard drive and rugged construction. In the event of a power failure, the UPS stores the I/O states and ensures a safe shutdown for the computer. The components combine to provide industry-specific solutions, such as high-productivity machine tools, printing and paper converting machines and packaging and food processing machines.

VALVES
Parker Instrumentation has launched a new range of swing-out ball valves (SWB) offering high pressure operation to 2,500 psig as standard. The new series combines the easy maintenance advantages of swing-out construction with a body design that allows the valve module to swivel on any of the corner bolts for mounting flexibility. Some 18 versions of the valves are available for tube or pipe sizes of 6-25 mm. The valves come with seat and seal options, which allow operation from -54°C to 232°C.
